Brigadoon Children's Camp Society

Brigadoon is a not-for-profit organization that is developing a summer camp facility on a 125 acre parcel on Aylesford Lake in Kings County donated by Nova Scotia Power.  The camp will meet the needs of children and youth with chronic illness. In 2006 Costello Fitt prepared a detailed business plan for the project including a market analysis, capital and operating cost estimates and cash flow projections. A capital campaign is now underway, with significant milestones achieved thanks to generous corporations, individuals and governments.  Thelma Costello has been active on the Board of Directors for several years and is now volunteer Project Manager for the construction phase.  The camp will be ready for the first group of campers in the summer of 2011.
